claws-mail-dbg software package provides Debug symbols for Claws Mail mailer, you can install in your Debian 9 (Stretch) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install claws-mail-dbg
claws-mail-dbg is installed in your system.
Make ensure the claws-mail-dbg package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep claws-mail-dbg *
You will get with claws-mail-dbg package name, version, architecture and description in a table
